A Daily Pleasure

Almost everyday I come across a piece of prose or poetry that strikes me. Sometimes it's a word. Other times it's a complete poem or an entire chapter from a book. Most often it's a sentence. Quite simply, this blog is a place for me to reflect on these moments and attempt some type of interpretation. It is mostly for me--a place to get my thoughts out of my head and onto the page. I hope it can also be for you, but I don't claim these posts to be in the least authoritative or even helpful. At most, I hope that they can fail better daily at making sense of the wonders of literature.
